CAUTION

◇ Use only original power adapter; if the adapter or wire is damaged please contact Customer Care.
◇ Do NOT touch the electrical plug with wet hands.
◇ Disconnect the power supply before replacing the filter, or if the product is not used for a long time.
◇ Make sure the power supply is as per the voltage indicated on the adaptor.
◇ Do NOT put any object inside the air purifier either from inlet or outlet.
◇ Do NOT block the inlet or the outlet of the air purifier.
◇ Do NOT attempt to repair or disassemble the air purifier; service should be performed by authorized personnel only.
◇ Keep the air purifier away from water, heat, and fire.
◇ Do NOT run the air purifier without filter – the suction of dust may cause problems in the equipment and its components.

GETTING STARTED

  1. After unpacking, place purifier upside down on a son, level surface.
  2. Rotate the base cover counter-clockwise to access the filter.
  3. Remove the filter from the clear, plastic bag and place back in the purifier – rotate clockwise to secure.
  4. Attach power cable to the corresponding input port on the back of the purifier.
  5. Insert power adapter of the air purifier to a power outlet.
  6. Flip the power switch on the back of the unit to the ON position (“I” = On / “O” = Off).

CHOOSE A SUITABLE LOCATION

✓ DO: place the unit in the room you will spend the most time ✓ DO: place the unit closest to the source of smoke or other household odors
✓ DO: close windows and doors to the room
✓ DO: ensure there is a few feet of clearance at top, front, and sides of unit
✓ DO: place the unit where it will NOT be a tripping hazard

✖ DO NOT: put the unit in the corner of the room
✖ DO NOT: put the unit behind furniture
✖ DO NOT: put the unit directly below shelves
✖ DO NOT: place the unit close to electronics, such as a TV, microwave, or stereo (computers are fine)
✖ DO NOT: place the unit on deep-pile/shag carpeting

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Start:

After main power is switched on, press the Power button. The unit will beep and the Air Quality indicator Lamp will light up. The purifier will start in AUTO mode and the PM2.5 Indicator will twinkle for several seconds before displaying the air quality level detected by the sensor.

First Use:

For best results, we recommend first running your purifier in manual mode on fan speed 3 thru 5 for several days to a week (while away from the room, if necessary). Then switch to AUTO to maintain clean air.

Auto Mode:

Press the Auto button when the unit is in another mode and it will switch to Auto.
In Auto mode, the Auto Indicator will glow and the unit will automatically adjust the air flow depending on the indoor air quality. The Air Quality Indicator lamp will glow to the corresponding level of air quality:

Colour of the Ring Blue Yellow/Green Purple Red
Air Quality Good Moderate Polluted Poor

PM2.5 Levels:  

0-50: Good 

51-100: Moderate 

101-200: Unhealthy 

201-300: Very Unhealthy 

301-500: Hazardous  

Sleep Mode:

Press the Sleep button after startup or while in another mode and it will switch to sleep mode. In this mode the Sleep Indicator will light, the lights will dim, and the air purifier will run on the lowest fan speed.

Manual Mode:

Press the Air Flow button after startup or while in another mode and it will switch to manual mode. In this mode the corresponding speed indicator will light and the air purifier will run in the selected speed. You can change the speed by pressing the Air Flow button.

Timer:

Press the Timer button after startup or while in another mode and it will switch to the Timer mode. In this mode you can set the specific time between 0.5 – 24 hours to automatically switch off the air purifier. The set time will be indicated on the display.

Light Controls:

Press the Light button to switch on/off the air quality light and air flow indicators. This function can be used at night, when you do not want any light to disturb your sleep.

Anion Generator:

The Anion Generator uses high voltage to ionize (electrically charge) air molecules that will attach to/deactivate airborne particles. Press the Vita Ion button after startup or while in another mode and the indicator will light while the anion generator is releasing anions. Press the Vita Ion button again to disable this function.

UV Lamp:

Press the UV button after startup or while in another mode and the indicator will light while the UV LED light is active. Press the UV button again to disable this function.

Stop Purifier:

If you want to switch off the air purifier completely, press the Power button – the unit will switch off and all lights will turn off.

Reset Filters Button:

Press this button to display the residual life of filters (%). After 3 seconds the display will revert back to the timer setting . When the filter needs to be changed, this button will light up. After replacing the filters, press and hold this button for 5 seconds to reset.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING! Before attempting to perform any maintenance on this air purifier, disconnect the power adapter!

HEPA FILTER

Suggested time of changing filter: every 6 months*

Notes:
◇ Filter life will depend on the air quality of the room and length of use. For example, changing time of filter may be shorter in contaminated zones, smoking areas, etc.
◇ Please change the filter if purification has degraded.

Cleanup routines: monthly (or more often in heavy polluted areas)

◇ Use a son brush or dry cotton cloth to clean the filter surface only, or vacuum gently.
◇ Do not use water to wash the filter.
◇ Filter may damage easily – use caution during handling, and replace immediately if damaged.

PM2.5 SENSOR

◇ Keep surface of the sensor clean, or sensitivity is affected and may fail to function properly.
◇ It is recommended to clean the PM2.5 sensor each time you replace the HEPA filter cartridge:

  1. Place the scoop end of a spoon under the tab at the bottom of the cover and push down on handle
  2. Remove foam insert and wash in the sink (allow to dry completely before replacing)
  3. Gently swab the center hole of the sensor in a circular motion with a dry cotton swab, or vacuum gently.

External Surface

◇ Use a dry, son fabric cloth to wipe the surface, inlets and outlets of the purifier.
◇ Do not use a chemical cleaning agent!

During Extended Idle Periods

◇ Unplug unit from its power source.
◇ Clean the surface and filter.
◇ Store in a cool, dry location and cover with a plastic bag.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Reason & Solution
Smell ● The filter may be too dirty if not  replaced for a long time. Replace the filter. 
● Using the air purifier in moist conditions  or water entered in the filter. Replace the filter. 
● Using unclean filter for a long time or  completely clogged filter. Clean the filter; if problem persists  replace the filter. 
● Burning smell. Stop the purifier and unplug  immediately; contact Customer Care.
No Air flow ● Air purifier being operated in sleep  mode. Change the mode. 
● The air purifier is malfunctioning. Check power supply, if problem persists  contact Customer Care.
Ineffectiveness The filter is clogged and no longer is  effective. Replace the filter. 
Being used in inappropriate places, such  as oversized spaces.
