Getting started 

Thank you for purchasing a SentrySafe Product. SentrySafe is the world leader  in fire/water resistant and security storage. This guide describes how to easily set-up the product.

Instructions 

Locate override keys. 

Keys are stored in the packaging material. 

Remove them before discarding the box. 

Registration: 

To be eligible for warranty coverage, the original purchaser must register  the product online at www.sentrysafe.com. 

1. Opening your security safe using the override key

Remove cover from key lock. 

Insert override key into key lock, turn the key counter clockwise, one quarter turn to the unlocked position. 

Turn the knob counter-clockwise to the unlock  position. 

To open, lift from the outer edge of  the lid.  

Note: to lock, return knob and key to  the locked position. 

2. Installing batteries 

Slide the cover off the battery  compartment. 

Properly insert batteries, replace  cover, and close the security safe lid.  

3 Programming 2 different personal codes 

Buttons 0-9 are used for user codes. When buttons are pressed, the green  light flashes. If no keys are pressed for 20 seconds the lock automatically resets to the readiness, which requires the pass code to be re-entered. 

To set first code: 

Press the red setting button on the  inside of the lid, the light will turn  orange and 2 beeps are heard. 

Input a code of 1-8 digits using the  OPEN 0-9 keys. 

Then press either “ * ” or “ # ” to  confirm/save the code, the light will flash orange and 2 beeps are  heard, indicating the first code has been saved.

To set second code:  

Press 0 two times, press red code  setting button, the light turns  

orange and 3 beeps are heard. 

Input a code of 1-8 digits using the  0-9 keys. 

Then press either “ * ” or “ # ” to  confirm/save the code, the light  will flash orange and 2 beeps are  heard, indicating the second code  has been saved.  

4 Opening your security safe using the codes  

Enter either user code, then press “ * ” or “ # ”  to confirm. Indicating light flashes green.  

Turn the knob counter-clockwise,  one quarter to the unlocked  position. 

Lift up on the outer edge of the lid to open.  

Note: After 5 seconds automatically  resets to the readiness mode. 

5. How to install tethering cable 

  1. Open safe.  
  2. Put the end of the cable (non-loop end) in the hole on the left side of the safe (back corner).  
  3. Close lid and lock safe.

Delay mode: 

When an incorrect code is pressed, the light flashes red three times. If the wrong code is entered three consecutive times, the lock will be locked automatically for 20 seconds.  

If the wrong code is entered six consecutive  times, it will be locked for 5 minutes.  

Low battery indicator, when red light comes  on – batteries should be replaced.  

Preserving user code: 

When the lock power fails due to dead  batteries, the codes will be preserved for  approximately 3 hours, after that time the  pass codes will be lost and will need to be reset.  

Please note: A lock reference number  is required to obtain replacement keys.  The reference numbers and/or letters are  engraved in the key lock cylinder as shown.  

WARNING 

This product is not intended for the secure storage of all materials. Items such as firearms, other weapons, combustible materials, or medication should not be stored in this unit.
